I Was On TV and I Had Butterflies in My Tummy!

August 8, 2022 by Rachel Raybin Leave a Comment

On Monday I had the privilege of appearing on ABC’s Talk of Alabama. I was asked to talk about the launch of our new video “I Have Butterflies in My Tummy“. In the days leading up to my first time on TV I thought for sure that I too would have butterflies.  After all just like our video says “everybody gets butterflies when they’re doing something for the very first time.”

Rachel on Talk of AlabamaI decided to do exactly what we teach our main character Charlie to do. I prepared the night before because this would make the morning less chaotic. I picked out my clothes and shoes. I packed up all the materials I needed for the shoot and placed them at the front door.  All I needed now was to get a good nights sleep. That was the hard part. I finally turned on some white noise and drifted off into la-la land.

I watched Talk of Alabama many times to understand their format.  There were no surprises and I knew exactly what was going to happen.  We all do better when we know what to expect and just like Charlie, my butterflies flew way. You know they always do!  Take a look and let me know what you think.
