Balloons are magical! When you think balloons you think celebration, but don’t wait for a party to have blast. There is just something about balloons that makes your little one smile. We’ve got the best balloon activities guaranteed to make your kids giggle with happiness. Have at it kiddos, you will love there ideas!

We are all about science for kids. This is a great balloon activity that keeps your kid learning at the same time. Your little scientist will really enjoy this experiment. Best of all you’ve probably got all of the tools in your kitchen already.

Balloon Tennis

Create this simple and fun balloon activity to enhance your child’s hand-eye coordination. Pull together paint sticks, paper plates, hot glue and a couple of balloons. You don’t even need a net to get this game going. If your child doesn’t have a sibling or buddy for this game, try hitting it in the air without letting fall. Like the old ball and string.

Water balloon piñata = instant fun. Hang filled water balloons from a tree branch in your yard or heavy string line. Gather up the kids and let each have a turn. Supervision is required.

This balloon activity is a fun and safe alternative to hockey. Use a pool noodle as a hockey stick to push a balloon to a basket goal for a team prize. Younger children should use multiple multi-colored balloons for extra fun. They will have a blast trying to hit them all.

Incorporate reading comprehension with an indoor balloon activity on rainy days. Blow up small balloons to dip in paint and create a masterpiece. The Hungry Caterpillar is a great project and book every child should experience.

Check out our Pinterest boards for a ton more fabulous ideas. Young children should be monitored while playing with balloons as they could be a choking hazard.
